In this book i found it very touching because of the walk about 500 miles.Nya's story was as touching as Salva's because of the 8 hour walk and when they made the well for the fresh water.

Ilove the book, it is very empowering, hopeful, and very courageous. Both Nya and Salva have to stay strong and have hope that they can do everything possible for their village

the book was terro not really all i need to say is look at your life and compare it to nya and salva's life is it the same? or is it differnt i bet it is way differnt because do you have to go to well's and get thorns or travel around states? NO! you got a pinces\princeeses life i bet you get it out of your refrigorator good and cooled. not once did you have to move to a well andget hot water and sweat and get tired. and i bet you somtimes complain. it is O.K. to complain somtimes but if you were salva or naya you could never complain. now think about it..... did it compare from your life or did it contrast? it is a really good book though.

but how were ther journeys differnt? think! dosent your mouth water when you smell the sweet sweet potatoes or cand imagen a world without candy! well you better think because they did not have all the main things that you think you need. you don't! why? how can i say that? well they did not have candy, sweet potatoes, cars, amusment parks, not even computers!not one borad game, video game,or even a case of a video or borad game, but they did have one thing. familly. they never argued about who get's the first mango who get's the first animal or even if they starved to death they still have had a good manner they honored there famaily not play a borad game inspiers there family, helps ther famaily, shared with ther family, loved ther family. now i know you ethier argued with a brother/sister but you do love them deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep down inside you just have not spreaded it. i know you did, i mean like you need to unleshe it by huging sharing giving. i know i have not yet spreaded it. my love for my friends family but i will always have a special place for them all i know you do to. just spread that felling even at the edge of time alwayes love them. know repeat after me. i care for my family, friends, anyone close to me. as long as they are a part of you. know you know what i mean by know rhight? all i need to say is you do love them in your heart deep deep deep deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep in your heart.

The stories of Nya and Salva inspire us to change our world view. You, my wonderful Journeys Book Club members also inspire me to continue to nurture the young minds who will change the world. Thank you for your thoughtful reflections about the book, A Long Walk to Water.
